If you would like to commission me, please have a look at my photo requirements below. This is an important step to ensure I can capture your pet to the best of my abilities. I know sometimes older photos or imperfect poses are the best you can find. I can pair best expressions with best poses or put two animals together from separate photos. If your pet has unfortunately passed away and you do not have good quality photos, you may send as many photos as you like before making a booking to ensure they are okay.
If your pet is still with us, new photos can be taken following the requirements listed below. If you have any concerns, please reach out and I can help with taking and choosing photos.
If you would like to commission a portrait from me, please note that I can only make my best work using good quality photos. I can always fill in missing details in blurry or grainy photos, but in order to ensure a portrait looks exactly like your pet, good quality photos work best. Photos must be taken close up and in natural daylight (outside or by a window) to ensure the best light. They ideally should show all the fine details - the light reflection in the eyes, texture of the fur, and markings on the nose. If the photo is taken from too far away or in bad lighting these details will be blurred or grainy when I zoom in. Photos should also be on the same eye level as your pet or from a good angle (not too side on or looking down from above). Most importantly, it should be a photo that you love and feel is a true representation of your pet's personality. As mentioned above, I can edit two photos together to combine your favorite expression with your favorite pose.
